What reminds of another difference of education between Finland and China is the way to apply for master's degree.

Recently many friends of mine took postgraduate qualifying examination in China, and I found there is one more difference about education between Finland and China. if you want to apply for master's degree in China, you have to take postgraduate qualifying examination which contains math, politics, English and one related to your major. However, most of western universities only requires your application and It mainly focuses on your study transcripts and GPA. Normally you do not have to take an extra examination for your offer. Personally I think this information might be new and interesting because most of my classmates did not know when I talked about this.
